Made my way to Bethel Woods last night to see the Goo Goo Dolls and Daughtry along with Plain White T's for, most probably, the only show I will catch there this season. Wow, did I pick right show to do so! it was positively fantastic! Daughtry's band was tight and simply rocked, the Goo Goo’s were the Goo Goo’s which made me very happy and Plaint White T’s, opening up acoustic, were spot on and sounded great

When we first got there to the pavilion, sadly near the end of Plain White T's short acoustic set, I had no idea where our seats actually were as, without my glasses I could only make out the section. Then every usher we showed our tickets to kept directing us to another usher closer and closer to the stage. This was good I thought. Eventually we were 10 rows back, center on the aisle, it was good...

...Nice huh?

All 3 bands were 'on' and I did a lot of bouncing...yeh, a lot of bouncing. I hadn't had a chance in quite a while to let go a bit and allow myself to just have some fun. Well last night was the perfect answer to such.

Our winners of the seats with me enjoyed the heck out them as well...though my apologies to the young lady who I think I elbowed at least half a dozen times amidst my bouncing.

My huge thanks to Bethel Woods for being, well, Bethel Woods, the finest outdoor concert location I have ever seen. And thanks too, to the folks of the tour who Ok'd our request for an extra pair of reserved seats so we could do our promotion of someone sitting with or getting stuck with me, however you want to look at it.

The Goo Goo Dolls closed things out with "Give a Little Bit". Perect. Thanks to Plain White T's and more importantly Daughtry and the Goo Goo Dolls (who I have been a fan of for 25 plus years now) for giving me a night I so needed.
