But surprisingly, these two films have a lot in common. Both center around heroism in the face of insurmountable odds along with water, beaches and sand, of course, but what is the most striking is that they share cliche dialogue, one dimensional characters and substandard absurd plots that tend to wander more than they mesmerize. Sadly, both are sinking ships despite having ample star power.
