Get ready to rumble this weekend. It's the Big Game that you've been waiting for. So grab your snacks, chicken wings, pizza, beer, catnip, Huh? Get ready for purrfect matchups, furry quarterbacks and fluffy tackles, Huh?
Kimberly has an endorsement deal with European Wax Center
Mark Bolger and I were recently approached by European Wax Center in Poughkeepsie with the offer of a wax. We are both great candidates for waxing because Mark has some, well, serious hair issues on his back and I could use some major pruning in my um, lower Hudson Valley region. With memories of the movie "The 40 Year Old Virgin" jumping to mind, Mark immediately said No Way, but I said Heck Yeah, let's do this!
If you were to make a list of things that are horribly painful, what would be on the list? Childbirth, kidney stones, broken bones? Sure, but If you've ever stepped on a wayward Lego unexpectedly then you know pain! Fear the Lego no more, thanks to a genius product.
Who doesn't love those Dollar Stores? There are loads of them with different names and styles but they all have one thing in common: Cheap Stuff! I always use the dollar store for items like gift bags, party plates and accessories, reading glasses and plastic zip lock bags and my husband spends most of our dollar store outings picking things up and saying "how much is this"? Grounds for divorce?
As a vegetarian there are a lot of events throughout the year that I feel just plain left out of. You know the ones, chili, bacon, and especially the Wing Wars coming up January 30th at the Civic Center in Poughkeepsie. If you are a meat eater, you probably can't feel my pain, nor care, but wonder if the world was a series of tofu events and meat eaters could only wish for wings!

He inspired, pushed and encouraged me and I owe my winning a full scholarship to the Theatre department of Hofstra University to him! Mr. Helprin helped me choose then coached me through very challenging, unusual audition pieces for my college auditions that were the secret to my success.
Do the pop up ads on your computer drive you crazy? You know the ones that pop up right in the middle of whatever you are doing and you have to "X" them out to continue with your work. My problem is I often click on the add accidentally trying to get it off my screen, then I have a heck of a time getting out of it.
Who doesn't love a Turtle? A Turtle named Timmy was my first pet. I adored Timmy, he was a tiny little guy who spent most days sitting in his little plastic turtle dish with a plastic tree and a half inch of water. Timmy didn't do much, I tried to get him to play with my Barbies who enjoyed pretending his turtle dish was the beach. He was just an awfully cute guy(well we didn't actually know if he was a guy, we just assumed), but one day he disappeared.
I was sorting through piles of junk mail, watching the snowflakes drift by, a rare sighting in this northeast winter that doesn't feel like winter ( something which makes me happy) and I thought what a lovely evening for a fire...
