Casino Schools Open in the Hudson Valley
As more and more casinos pop up in New York State, besides taking a chance on hitting it big, it might be a good place for a job. Think you’re pretty good a rolling the dice and think you can easily land the job at the casino? Maybe not, but now you can go to casino school.
A few weeks ago, a free gaming table dealers’ school opened in the Town of Thompson, not far from the Resorts World Catskills resort. That is opening in May and they are looking for game dealers.
According to MidHudsonNews.com, another school has opened at Stewart Airport. A big pep rally was held by Orange County officials, Stewart Airport and casino officials. All the groups are excited about the economic windfall the casino will be for the region.
A third school is expected to open in Ellenville. Resorts World will select a total of 600 table game dealers from all the students between the three schools.
