Dragon Boat Festival Comes to Poughkeepsie July 5

Make plans to come down to the Hudson on July 5th for the Dragon Boat Festival!  This colorful event is not only going to be lots of fun, but benefits the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation and Arts Mid-Hudson.

 

The Dragon Boat Race will feature 8 dragon boats transported to the Hudson Valley by 22 Dragons of Montreal Canada. Individual paddlers as well as corporate teams will compete on the Hudson River from 8:00 – 3:00.

 

 

 

This is going to be a new,different and unique event for the Hudson River.  The Asian Festival will also be happening on the banks of the river that day, plus it’s Balloon Festival weekend.  Make sure you come and take it all in.
