The Dutchess County Department of Public Works has completed work on another bridge in Dutchess County. Bridge C-19, which is on Hollow Road or county route 14 in the Town of Clinton.

That particular bridge runs over the Little Wappinger Creek.
Work began over the summer on this bridge. It involved replacement of the existing bridge and abutments, improvements to the curve, widened travel lanes, widened shoulders, a new stone parapet to help maintain the historical landscape.

The DPW also completed bridge work this season on New Hamburg Road in Wappinger, Broadway in Tivoli, Academy Hill Road in Milan, Clinton Hollow Road in Clinton, and Sherow Road in Pleasant Valley. Most of the bridge projects were completed on to close to schedule and within budget.

The department will stop road work as they move into the winter months. During the months of December, January and February they will be focused on snow and ice removal on county roads.
