Summer time is a rough time for kids to keep in shape and stay on track with fitness.  For students in the Highland School district, the annual Highland High School Fit Club Summer workout program has started.

On Tuesday and Thursdays during the summer, the workout program will take place between 9am and 10am at the high school on Pancake Hollow Road in Highland.  The program is designed for student athletes and it’s a great way for them to prepare for their sports season.   The workout program will focus on improving speed, flexibility and agility.  It’s also a great way for students to build relationships with fellow students from  different sports programs.

The Fit Club Summer Workout program is open to all Highland students in grades 7-12.  While the program is open to athletes and non-athletes, so even if you child isn’t on a sports tea, but wants to workout they are invited to participate.
