Jimmy Fallon takes over the Tonight Show this week.  You probably know that Jimmy grew up in Saugerties.  He says he used to listen to my show when he was a kid.  He used to set up his cassette recorder at home and wait for me to play "Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker Jr.  He also heard about a promotion we were running with Bananas Comedy Club in Poughkeepsie.  They were looking for the funniest person in the Hudson Valley.  It's pretty cool that Fallon heard about it on my show!  I remember the night at the club.  He was this really young kid who not only was funny, but really charmed the audience.  I remember the owners of the club, Harlan and Arlene Jamison saying to me that "this kid has got it."  They knew back then that Jimmy Fallon had star quality.  The Hudson Valley wishes you only the best Jimmy.  Thanks for listening to my show!
