The boys of One Direction are as close as brothers. Still, Liam Payne, who looked uh-maze at the 2013 American Music Awards (Nov. 24), would not like to swap places with his bandmate Harry Styles. Whoa -- why not?

Hazza gets the lion's share of gossip and media attention due to his love life, and that's why Payne wouldn't want to be in his shoes. Despite the drama that the former BF of Taylor Swift has to deal with, his mates say that he handles it in stride, like a pro.

Payne said, "I would absolutely hate to be Harry. Because I don’t think I’d cope with that extra level of attention."

Bandmate Niall Horan agreed, but gave Styles props, saying, "He definitely found the whole experience all very easy."

Styles doesn't let the BS get to him since he is happy to be where he is and isn't taking anything for granted. In fact, he looks at the extra attention as an occupational hazard.

Hazza said, "It wasn’t that long ago I was working in a baker’s, and now I’m doing this. I’m very lucky, and as far as I can see it’s all good."

That's a terrific attitude for him to adopt, especially since it's the paparazzi and gossip media nonsense that often "breaks" pop stars.

Hazza finished, "I don’t overthink anything. Everybody else analyzes you from your hair to your eyebrows to the way you wave your hand. If you start worrying about it and overthinking everything you do, it all just becomes false, so I think, just carry on as you are, do what you do and get on with it."

Keep calm and Harry on!
