Paintbrushes & Party will be holding their Moonlight Pumpkin Fiesta. Get in touch with your inner artist at this event which allows you to leave with an art piece that you'll be proud enough to hang on your wall. 3. Costume & Cocktail Soiree' with Sandra Lee

 The one and only Sandra Lee stops by Poughkeepsie’s Paula's Public House this Sunday afternoon starting at 2 p.m. The multi Emmy Award winner comes to the Hudson Valley to share cocktails, costumes tips and all things festive. All proceeds from this event go to benefit Mountain Haven Animal Rescue.
 
4. Hardcore Sweet Halloween- Friday the 13th Cake

So what are you doing this Friday the 13th? Well if you want to be hardcore, then check out Hardcore Sweet Cupcakes in Oakville, Connecticut this Friday starting at 7 p.m. for their Friday the 13th cake tutorial. 5.  Mix At The Movies: Happy Death Day & Marshall
Kicking off this Friday the 13th at the box office is quite the fitting film in Happy Death Day, a slasher horror film from the producers of The Purge franchise and Get Out. The film follows a college student who relives the day of her murder over and over and over until she discovers her killer's identity (So it is the Groundhog Day of horror films). Also opening this weekend is Marshall a biopic drama based on the life of the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, Thurgood Marshall. The film follows him as he takes on his first case forever shaping and defining his career.
