2. 35th Annual Queens County Fair
Location: The Queens County Farm Museum, Floral Park
Happening: Saturday & Sunday,  September 23rd & 24th at 11 AM
Happening this weekend at the Queens County Farm Museum is the 35th annual Queens County Fair. This annual fall tradition boast livestock competitions, home crafts arts and more. This Fair will have a pie eating contest, hayrides, pig races, carnival rides, midway games, magicians and acrobats, oh and also a beer garden. These festivities will not only be fun, but also educational for your whole family. At the Con Edison's Ecological Booth, you can adopt a worm for your home compost bin and get recycling tips. 3. Global Citizen Festival

Happening: Saturday, September 23 at 2 PM
It's an opportunity to reward those who give back and enjoy a star-studded bash at the Global Citizens Festival in Central Park this Saturday kicking off at 2 p.m. General admission tickets to this event are typically only earned. Yes, that is right you have to do community service to get into this one-of-a-kind concert, but if you didn't have time with your busy schedule to lend a helping hand, don't worry you can still purchase VIP tickets. These VIP tickets aren't cheap, but completely worth it with acts like Green Day, The Killers, Lumineers, The Chainsmokers, Pharrell Williams, Big Sean, Alessia Cara and Stevie Wonder. 4. Spirit of Beacon Day

Enjoy this Saturday at a one-of-a-kind community event, the Spirit of Beacon Day. Taking over Main Street in Beacon, this city celebrates all things that are local. This year is the 40th anniversary celebration for the event.Also the Beacon Historical Society, with its 40th anniversary will be marching down Main Street to celebrate Beacon pride. 5.  Mix At The Movies: Kingsman: The Golden Circle & The LEGO Ninjago Movie
Hitting movie theaters this weekend are two films that celebrates the power of the sequel, okay a continuation of a movie franchise. First off The Kingsman: The Gold Circle sees Eggsy and his crew returning to take on the evil criminal circus known as The Golden Circle. Starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and the one and only Sir Elton John. Next out this weekend is the The LEGO Ninjago Movie, which is a computer animated action comedy martial arts film. The movie stars the voices of Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Michael Pena, Fred Armisen, Olivia Munn and Jackie Chan. The film tells the story of master builder, Lloyd, aka The Green Ninja and his six secret ninja friends who take on the evil warlord Garmadon who just happens to be Lloyd's father.
