    Looking for a family-friendly event? Then Check out the 8th Annual Pet and Wildlife Expo happening on Saturday. The Expo will kick off at 11 a.m. in Hopewell Junction. This event has live music, food, a kid’s corner and even a dog parade. All proceeds from the event will go to the construction of a no kill animal shelter and Wildlife Center in Stormville. Attendees are asking to bring a can of pet food to donate to the pet food pantry.

  1. Mix at the Movies: Alien: Covenant, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul & Everything, Everything
    This weekend is going to be busy at the box office. Three big films are coming to a big screen near you. First, is the highly anticipated Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant. The film stars Michael Fassbender and Billy Crudup and tells the tale of a colony spaceship that encounters an immeasurable threat. Also out this weekend is Everything, Everything, which stars Nick Robinson and Amanda Stenberg. The film centers on a teenager who's trapped indoors due to a life-threatening illness but truly struggles when she falls for the boy who lives next door. Rounding out the weekend is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul. This installment of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise stars Alycia Silverstone and centers a round of family road trip that goes wrong.
