Friday night, Dec. 15 is the third annual Christmas parade and tree lighting presented by Ulster Hose Fire Company 5.

The parade will start at Wrentham Street, then proceed to VanKuren Highway, along side streets. Then the parade will return to the firehouse on Ulster Avenue. Then Ulster Hose will serve hot chocolate, cookies, fried dough and hot dogs for the community.

The parade and tree lighting will begin at 6pm. Free shuttle buses will be running from the Business Resource Center on Ulster Avenue to the Ulster Hose Firehouse starting at 6pm.

Following the parade and tree lighting, the fire company will be giving children a chance to win a brand-new bicycle. They have 150 different bikes. The bikes will be raffled off during the celebration at the firehouse. Ulster Hose got the bikes donated by area businesses and residents. Ulster Hose is located at 830 Ulster Avenue in Kingston.
