Pet of the Week: 02/27/14

Out latest furry guest was in the studio today as another Thursday brought us another Pet of the Wee with the Ulster County SPCA. Executive Director Adam brought with him Loretta who came to the shelter via the Yonkers SPCA after being saved from a hoarding situation.

About 3 years old she seems to be an interesting looking mix of a Chihuahua and, maybe, a Pit Bull. Because of the situation she came from, extremely little human interaction,  Loretta is a little shy but she's gotten a lot better at warming up to people and giving them a them a chance.

She gets along with other dogs but with cats she's very curious and wants to play so she might put some off.

If you are interested in Little Loretta or looking to adopt another I always highly recommend the UCSPCA for the love they have for their animals and their commitment to them.

If maybe you would just like to help them out with a donation of some sort that would be gladly welcomed. One way to help them out is join them at one of their many events like "Pins for Pets" their annual bowling night that is happening this Saturday night at Ferraro's Mid City Lanes in Kingston.

Here's to the Furry's!
